How To Plan a Party
If you are going to plan a party you should know these things. First, you need a good location. One idea is that it should be where your theme would fit. If you are having a sports party, you should have it in a place where there is a enough room to play. A huge room would be perfect for a dance party. You should have a water party if it’s going to be hot outside.
You should have fun activities, so your guests don’t get bored. Fun games, music, and prizes, would be great. You should have a schedule so know what to do first, second, and last. This is important, so you don’t do the same thing the whole time, and you party does not go on forever.
Snacks are important, so have tasty food and drinks. Soda, sparkling lemonade, and root beer are all yummy drinks. Some good snacks are chips, crackers, and popcorn. If you are planning a meal pizza, nachos, or hot dogs are great for parties. These are just some ideas you can use at your next party.
I have not posted on this blog in an age!! To much has been going on around here to have time. Today however it has been raining all day, and I actually feel like sitting in front of my computer (yes in my robe at almost 5pm) and putting together this post for you. Don’t worry I have dinner in the crock pot, so my family will eat tonight despite my ramblings on this post.
I have spent this last week prepping Valentines crafts for a few different events coming up. Today I worked on the kids Valentines with them. I was feeling very accomplished until I realized I counted Graces valentines on the package wrong and was short like 12. Don’t ask me how this happed it just did, maybe for another post on “mommy brain.” So at that point I did what any crafter would do, and I headed to my stash where I knew if I put my mind to it I could fashion something up. I found some old white bags that I have used off and on for years. I then stole this cute “Type Writer” idea off none other then Pintrest! It is where all road lead apparently. I had the stamp on hand, and then printed out the text. We stuffed them with fruit snacks and called it a day! They actually turned out cuter then then our original ones! Most importantly they are done.
Below are the crafts planned for the kids school I am heading up with my good friend Kristen this week. Looking forward to seeing how they turn out as well.
Last but not least a cute picture of Noah because well……. he is cute!! Happy Friday everybody!
Tonight we celebrated our Easter with Mimi and Pop Pop at the Park. The weather was in the 80’s and wonderful. I am glad we celebrated early since it is suppose to rain on Sunday. It was good timing for us. We had a great picnic, and the kids had a ball riding bikes and using the go cart! The egg hunt was the highlight of course, and I think Milo scored the most eggs:) It was definitely a play clothes kind of afternoon! I am hoping to have some more pictures of my kiddos in their Easter best on Sunday, to show you this week! I hope you all have a great Good Friday!
She smiled on cue every time!!! What a doll face!!
After Christmas photos being some what of a challenge Sara was bracing herself for the worst. I have to say the kids did so great and we both kind of looked at each other and said, “Wow are we done already!” Sara you pulled it off girl. All six of you looking fabulous!! Take that Spring Pictures!!
I loved that I got to capture my nice this last week. She was just as sweet as could be. I have never had a baby pee so much during a shoot before, but she is a baby so I will cut her a break!! Thanks Sheree for letting me play around with her all day!
Aside from this suit case being adorable, Mimi gives these to all the grandkids which say “Going To Grandmas.” This pic was for you Mimi!! Looks like she is ready to go!
As I get ready to celebrate another Father’s Day all I can think is how blessed I am to have such a great dad in my life. I grew up with an amazing dad who always believed in me, provided for me, had fun with me, protected me… and the list goes on. I pray I never take for granted the presence he has been in our family. I know not everyone can say that, and I am truly grateful. I then met the love of my life who is an amazing father to our kids, and I love watching him live out the same legacy that his dad left to him (love ya George). I love that my kids will have a dad they can be proud of just like I am of my Dad. Thanks for “Being The Man.”
Happy Father’s Day Dads!!!
This last weekend we celebrated with my dear friends Katie and Darryn as they hosted a great party for their son Deacon. Katie everything looked so great, and I am so glad to be a part of his special day. Happy Birthday!!
Happy Birthday Sweet Boy!!
So no surprise I am still playing catch up from last year. I do have to say I am getting close to finishing 2011. I actually have new pictures of this great family so I figured I better get on posting these from last year. Yes that is right these are back from last fall!! Hopefully it will not take me 6 months to post the new ones. Karlson Family you are awesome and I love being a part of your memories every year. I hope you are having a wonderful Saturday!! Enjoy!!
This family was so great to work with. We had never met them before, they were a last minute fill in for anther family and we were hoping they would not be to overwhelmed by all of us. They were very patient with the group, as we tried to assure them this was defiantly not the normal routine, as we all took turns posing them, and rattling off weird camera terms to each other. I felt like the paparazzi out there at times, I am sure people that drove by were wondering what was up. Anyway I wish everyone a great rest of their Sunday here on this rainy day in Fresno.
