My dear friend Katie through a gorgeous bridal shower for her sister Robin this past weekend. There Grandma has a beautiful home, which always makes the greatest backdrop to any party. Grace was very excited to be joining me at the shower. She has been missing her bud Olivia all summer. The two of them had way to much fun. Robin I can’t wait for your wedding this fall. Many blessing to you and Mike this year!
I got to take pictures of a very cute surf themed party, for Nina with Sugar Palooza. She does such great work, and I enjoy getting to see what great party she has created every time I come out. Aside from the wind which was knocking things over (such a party planners nightmare) it all looked great! These girls were in for a quite a fun afternoon. Surfs Up Dude!
Little sis and the birthday girl, testing out the photo booth for us.

Yesterday we celebrated my nieces 1st birthday. Ruby is such a sweet blessing to our family and we were so happy to be celebrating her birthday with her. Daniel made some delicious strawberry Nutella crepes. Very Yummy!!

This past weekend Micah celebrated with his buddy Ben. Ben turned the big 5 and had an awesome Super Hero party. Micah had been so anxious for this party all week! He and I worked on his costume which was a lot of fun. I was sad I could not capture all the cute details of this super party, but I was double booked that day. Here are a few pics I did get when I went to pick Micah up. Happy Birthday Ben!!
A super cake by Frosted Cakery
This last weekend I got to throw a baby shower with Robin and Sarah for my dear friend Katie. The shower was at Katie’s Grandmas house who’s home is so stunning. It made all my decorations look ten times better. Since Katie loves the vintage flare, and has a huge love for reading I ran with that theme for her shower.
Katie I am so excited for you especially since your are having a boy. It is fun to have one of each. Boys are great and I am looking forward to meeting him very soon!
Divine desserts from Frosted Cakery
Today at Discovery kids we ended our day with a “Tangled” birthday party for Kennedy. These kids were so excited for cupcakes it was crazy! They could hardly wait to finish class to get to the party. Happy Birthday Kennedy we love you!!!
I don’t blame you Ben, those girls hair bows are quite shocking and large!
My dear friend Sarah is getting ready to have baby number 3. We all could not help but celebrate this new little girl. Really any excuse to throw a party and I am on it!! Christa, Katie, and Sara K. were my partners in crime and helped me so much! I love throwing parties with friends because everyone pitches in on the areas that they love, and it just makes everything fun and easy!!
The Best Grilled Cheese Ever! Are you hungry? Christa did all the food which was amazing. On the Menu that night was Broccoli Cheese and Tomato soup, salad, and grilled Panini’s. Thank you Christa for putting that all together. Oh FYI Cheesecake Factory Balsamic Vinaigrette “To Go” is so yummy!
Can you ever go wrong with good old tissue paper flowers?!!
I have not done a sit down dinner for a shower in a long time, it was fun to actually use real dishes. Thanks to Leslie who washed all those dishes after the party!!! What a blessing!!
The Ladies at Frosted Cakery out did themselves as always with our amazing desserts. The cake was divine, and the macaroons got rave reviews! They have a new store front in Tower District on Wishon, stop by for a cupcake and coffee, you will not be disappointed.
Congratulations Sarah and big sis Kennedy, we can’t wait to meet her!!
Our little Lucy turns one! Sheree hosted a lovely winter themed party. We had yummy soup with toppings, and warm bread. It was so good! Frosted Cakery did the cake, and it was divine as usual!
Last night we were cordially invited to a princes party! Megan did such a great job decorating, it all look fantastic. I think this princess had royal time! Happy Birthday sweetie!!
The main princess herself.
How awesome to have your mom and Grandma in the cake business!
Oh and all these goodies taste as good as they look. Red Velvet Whoopie Pies, so good!!!!
I loved the vintage flair she took on this princess party.
What princess party would not be complete with out a full dress-up and make-up station.
Face painting station. Go Chad!!
There were some Knights around just in case there were any dragons needing to be slain.
My sweet niece turned 1 this week. I was sad not to be able to get to spend her birthday with her, but so excited to see pictures. Renee her party was so stinking cute! I loved every part of it. You did a great job! Happy Birthday Karis!!
